E D E (x2)
E G A F (x2)
E G
I live a simple life, I take a day at a time
A F
I spend my mornings with God before I hit the grind
E G
The sublets of darkness never cease to amaze
A F
A physical world creates a spiritual haze
E G
Blinded by distractions
A C
Lost in matterless affairs
E G
Reachings through the darkness
A C
Trusting you will meet me there

E A E A
Day by day. Day by day
E A E A
Oh dear Lord, three things I pray
A C
To see thee more clearly
A C
To love thee more dearly
A C E
To follow thee more nearly
E G A C (x2)
