Ver1: I took a drink__ of a long__ dark night,
Then drunk on doubt__ I cursed__ the light
But there's a certain love___ that I seem__ to recall
Here when I rise__ here when I fall
Ver2: I had a dream__ but it fell__ a-part,
A trusted friend__ who broke__ my heart
But there's a certain love___ that I seem__ to recall
Here when I rise__ here when I fall

Along the gutters and down the ditches,
Across valleys and mountain ridges, certain love
Ver3: I built a house_ but the ground__ was sand,
The rains came down__ and it could__ not stand
But there's a certain love___ when you’ve lost___ it all
Here when we rise__ here when we fall

Here when I rise, here when we rise
Here when I rise, here when we fall rising________
