I’ve seen a lot of requests for “Smile” on various Christian message boards so I
thought I’d put it out there. We play this song in our church at both the Contemporary
Worship Service and Senior High Youth Service. I encourage music ministers out
there to incorporate more cutting edge music into your services. It is amazing
how God uses the energy of this type of music to engage the entire congregation
in worship.
For beginning guitarists, don’t be intimidated by the number of chords in this
song. Most of them are just derivatives of the previous chord and are not
difficult to play. Good luck and keep playing for the glory of God!
