Artist: Stavesacre
Title: The Two Heavens
Disk: Absolutes
Tabbed By: Luke Pederson (stavesacre12@hotmail.com)
Notes: I'm in no way an expert guitarist, but this is as close as I've come
to the CD. It's in "Dropped D" tuning.
To accomplish this, for all u who don't know (cuz I didn't at first), put
your finger on the seventh fret of the low E, and play that and the A string
right below it and tune the low E until the E and the A sound the same with
the E string on the 7th fret. It makes it a low D.
p = Palm Mute (right hand/strumming hand). i.e. --9p-8p-8p--
x = Mute (left hand/chord hand)
/ = Slide
Note: This is all guitar 1. Occasionally guitar 2 will do some chords/
picking (like in the really really long 8-7 routine on the high d string).
You can try to figure it out (it's not too much more difficult then this is),
but for time's sake I didn't want to put it all in here. Sorry! Also, the
tab is in no way 100% accurate. If you can fix it, please let me know!!!
....here goes. It's a bit daunting, as this song is so difficult...
Starts Singing "A careless leper..."
"...have new infections..."
"...shivers to my spine..."
"Wouldn't you? Shouldn't you? Remember me?..."
"...stepped right off between the two heavens..."
--No Lyrics--
"She's there when I'm alone..."
"A caress with velvet paws..."
"...and I know she's breathing murder..."
"Wouldn't you? Shouldn't you? Remember me?..."
"Step right off between the two heavens..." to "...one last goodbye."

YAY! THE WHOLE THING!!! Thought I'd never finish. Here's the lyrics, for
any who care, or want to know the message of the song:
A careless leper, too comfortable in his own world to notice the older wounds
had new infections with new intentions. Darkness settled in behind me and
tapped me on the shoulder singing. Shivers to my spine, from the corners of
my mind. "I've been wanting to remind you of everything you've left behind."
"Wouldn't you, shouldn't you remember me?... Should you forget (I haven't
yet) Remember when we..." "Almost stepped right off between the two heavens;
one above, and one below. One last flight...all stars and city lights. One
last goodbye...one last goodbye" She's there when I'm alone, and she always
seems to know those stories that will take me back to where my comforts sleep
....a caress with velvet paws that hide her sharpened claws. Along the walls
that time has built high, searching for the blemishes, and I know she's
breathing murder, that it is folly to endure her, but there's sweetness in
her whispers, "When you've had enough, I'll be waiting..." "Wouldn't you,
shouldn't you remember me? ...should you forget (I haven't yet) You know we
could always..." "Step right off between the two heavens, one above, and one
below. One last flight...all stars and city lights, one last goodbye...one
last goodbye." I've never known a life without her. At every turn, she's
there. Her comfort I despise, but there's a coward in me fearing any changes
for the trial. Hopeless is a hideaway; familiar escape. I've never known a
life without her. At every turn, she's there. Yesterday is a siren, singing
memories so inviting. Sometimes reaping takes a lifetime, but I'm pushing
on, with living life renewed in mind. I say goodbye to yesterday the siren,
singing memories so inviting. Sometimes reaping takes a lifetime, but I'm
pushing on, with the mind of Christ. I say goodbye, and watch her die.
Wow. Lots of lyrics. Any questions, comments, suggestions, send 'em my way!

(Uunless you are complaining. Then you can send them to GetLostNow@Please.Now
....just kidding. Those are welcome too! (God knows, I'd probably get more
of those then anything else!...*lol*)) :)
Oh, yeah, before I forget. This song is (c) 1996 by Stavesacre. Don't sell
the tab, cuz I'm not, and it's probably wrong somewhere here and there.
