candlelight contains the night, heaven lends an ear
and I lift you to the throne
sending empathy on a summer breeze to brush the window sill
shere you sit all alone
Abm E
the silence whispers your name
A2 F#
echoing tears with a rain
e|--0h2--| <- inside chord
D Bm G
something told me you might be crying
D Dsus4 D Asus4 A
lying with your smile, alone
D Bm G
something told me yours may be troubled eyes
D Dsus4 D Asus4 A
broken windows to your soul
for every tear that you cry i promise you i'll cry too
i've seen the heart of queens broken now and then
and one of them is yours
i won't lie if you ask me why it's gotta be this way
but i may not have a lot to say
Abm E
the moon reminds me of your face
A2 F#
as i pray your heart finds grace
B Esus2 D Esus2 F-(x,8,10,10,10,8)
(i know that it seems strange to use some of the common chords in their
barre form. It is because in the solo you need that kind of bell like
quality that you get from playing the wound strings (EADG) that high on
the fret board. If anyone can figure out that solo...wow...but please
let me know. God bless!)
