Song: "Lullaby"
Artist: My Friend Stephanie
Album: Makeover
Tab by: Evan Dickens
E-mail: kidfab@place2b.org
This song just flat out rocks, as do most of the songs on MFS' debut
album. Joel McCreight is now guitarist for Geoff Moore & the Distance,
but he did some incredible things with MFS. Get this CD, it is a gem,
and this is the best song on the album.

Inside of you

Is a part of me

And inside of me

Is so much of you

Whether you want it or not

Whether you think you need it or not
Em Cmaj7
We are not alone
Em Cmaj7
We are here in this world together
Em Cmaj7
Though we're far apart
Em Cmaj7
We are one in my eyes forever
Em Cmaj7 Em Cmaj7
Em Cmaj7
In this lullaby
Em Cmaj7
I can drink my tears away
Em Cmaj7
In this lullaby
Em Cmaj7
I can wish your words to say
G A7
I love you
G A7
I love you baby
G A7
I love you
G A7
I love you so much baby
*Now comes the first solo (I'm not sure you could call it a solo, it
doesn't sound like single notes to me.) I have no idea what he's doing;
I'm really not that good of a guitarist, I don't have a good ear for
these things. This is my first tab. Just mess around with the E minor
pentatonic scale and you'll get something decent. ;)

And now, the second solo. Once again, mess around with E minor
pentatonic. Here's the beginning of it (there's a lot of slurring,
vibratos and stuff).
e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------------------------
G--------12-12h14p12-12h14p12-12-12h14p12-12-12------------------------
D--12h14----------------------------------------14-12h14---------------
A--------------------------------------------------------14------------
E----------------------------------------------------------------------
or something close to that, than a few seconds later there's a:
e---12----12------
B------12----12---
You get the idea.
Chords:
Em - (022000)
Cmaj7 - (032000)
G - (320003)
A7 - (002020)
And for those of you unfamiliar with soloing, here's the E minor
pentatonic scale:
e-12----15---
B-12----15---
G-12--14-----
D-12--14-----
A-12--14-----
E-12----15---
If I ever figure out the rest of the solos and other parts, I'll make
sure to post a new version of this tab. If you can give me any help,
please, I beg you, write! And above all, buy this album and support an
incredible band.
