e:----------------------------------5-----------------5-5-5-5-3--5-5-5-5-3--
b:---6--8-5-6-8-5-6--6-5------6-5-6----6--8-5-6-8-5-6-----------------------
g:------------------------9-7-----------------------------------------------
d:--------------------------------------------------------------------------
a:--------------------------------------------------------------------------
e:--------------------------------------------------------------------------
But the bass player can play this as well. The bass tab looks like this:
g:-12--14-11-12-14-11-12--12-11----12-11-12-16--12-14-11-12-14-11-12-16-16-16-16-14--16-16-16-16-14
d:-----------------------------14-12---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
e:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can play it an octave lower, like this:
g:-----------------------------4---------------4-4-4-4--4-4-4-4--
d:-5--7-4-5-7-4-5--5-4----5-4-5--5--7-4-5-7-4-5-------7--------7-
a:--------------------7-5----------------------------------------
e:---------------------------------------------------------------
Or, if you have a 6-string bass you can play both. Like this:
c:-------------------------------------------11---------------------11-11-11-11-9-11-11-11-11-9
g:12-14-11-12-14-11-12-12-11------12-14-11-12-4-12-14-11-12-14-11-12-4--4-4--4--2--4--4-4--4--2
d:-5--7--4--5--7--4--5--5--4-14-12---5--4--5----5--7--4--5--7---4-5-------7--------7-----------
a:---------------------------7--5--------------------------------------------------------------
e:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Or if you really wanna challenge, this is what I do. I play the normal bass line with my left hand while playing the melody
with my right hand. Like this: (When you see "~" that means to let the note ring out)
c:------------------------------------------11--------------------11-11-11-11-9-11-11-11-11-9
g:-12--14-11-12-14-11-12--12-11----12-11-12---12-14-11-12-14-11-12---------------------------
d:-----------------------------14-12---------------------------------------------------------
a:---------------2~~~~~~~~~3~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~7~~~~~~~~~~~5~~~~~~~3~~~~~~~~~~~~~3~~~~~~~~~~~
e:--3~~~~~~~~~~~~----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you can make creative ideas off of this!
