You're an angel, a blessing, a friend to me,
you really don't know how much you mean to me.
Your loving, and caring and that you are
never let anyone tell you who you are.
You're a star that shines high above the sky
on a moonlight night shining so bright.
When I am in darkness you give me light
and I know everything will be alright.
When things go wrong it's you I call
and you are always there to catch me when I fall.
From the day we met I knew from the start
I could trust you with all my heart.
God has blessed me with an amazing friend
and no matter what our friendship will never end.
If you ever need somebody to talk to
If you ever need a shoulder to cry on
If you ever need a place to get away
Look into your heart
For I am here whenever you need me
I am always here day and night
You can always count on me to be a friend
to you, I am here for you
